Raylen & Roby

AUTUMN HIKING ELOPEMENT ATOP A DESERT CANYON

Raylen & Roby, where to start with these two. Our time together felt so easy — they have a deep love of Big Bend and when they decided they wanted to come back to the park to get married, I was ecstatic. Our half-day was spent going between belly laughs and quiet, a perfect balance of joy and reverence for the land the three of us love.

HALF-DAY ‘JUST US’ HIKING ELOPEMENT

We originally planned a canoe elopement for their wedding ceremony, but with lower-than-expected water levels, we decided to change course. The Rio Grande was still a fixture of their ceremony, but instead of being down in the canyon, we stood atop it. With sweeping views of the Sierra del Carmen and Rio GrandE Village, they shared their vows.
